ZEDEX® 324 family
As PEEK, only better – up to 250°C
The family ZX-324® is 100% virgin PEEK. Unlike to commonly used PEEK, it has a higher glass transition temperature – and better ductility, consenting to reduce the machining times dramatically. Approx. 55% time saving has been already archieved on a real finished parts.
The other properties are similar to the common ones, but thanks to our wide range of hollow rods you can save up to 70% in weight in comparison to bars, hence money. Have a look to our delivery programme.
When to use the family ZX-324® ?
- For temperatures up to 250°C
- When in contact with chemicals
- If FDA conformity or EU 10/2011 approval is required
(basic type ZX-324)
When is the ZX-324® family not suitable?
- If an price-effective solution is required (e.g. ZX-324V1T® as alternative)
- When low wear and friction are required (e.g. ZX-324V2T® as alternative)
